This tool helps you design, refine, and defend a doctoral research methodology. Paste your project summary below (from Chapter 1). Each stage includes expert feedback plus Socratic prompts that keep you in your zone of proximal development—you make the decisions; the AI won’t do the work for you.

What happens next (inside ChatGPT)
After you open the prompt in ChatGPT, it will guide you through six stages. Each stage provides short, specific feedback and a brief Socratic exchange. At the end of each stage, the AI will: (a) ask two quick decision questions and one open-ended “stretch” question, and (b) explicitly state the next stage by name with a one-sentence reminder of its purpose.
- Stage 1 — Design Options to Stage 2 — Refine (Revise or Plan).
- Stage 2 — Refine (Revise or Plan) to Stage 3 — Methods.
- Stage 3 — Methods to Stage 4 — Ethics (wrap to next row).
- Stage 4 — Ethics to Stage 5 — Summary.
- Stage 5 — Summary to Stage 6 — Justify & Defend.
The AI will keep each exchange concise. You’ll make decisions at each stage before moving on. If a stage needs more depth, it will ask brief clarifiers first, then pose a third open-ended “stretch” question to build your reasoning.
